In this constant human exploration, inhabiting a territory full of environmental and social problems regarding nature; I explore the macro and the micro, the tangible visual landscape and the internal landscape that is produced with the experience of being in contact with the life that surrounds me – we are what we inhabit -.
The decisions we make regarding the bodies that surround us, individually and collectively, as well as our own bodies, weave our future, weaving the fabric every second of what we will experience today and tomorrow. From a creation that is as respectful as possible, I generate works and acts as active meditations on the matter, sometimes materialized prayers, to understand, through the image/work, this world and this environment in which I decide to live day by day.
In the recent act of gestating, many of my thoughts became clearer. Then in the act of giving birth and mothering, I reaffirmed that everything matters. When we sow a seed, the way in which we prepare or do not prepare the soil, the intention with which we sow, and take care of this conscious new life that is growing, invisibly determines the energy that will make up the primary cells of this new being. Everything we do matters, and is reflected in the reality around us.
My works are expressions of self-perceptions, of caring for things and life.
