Alamatic Paintings (2021)

This series of paintings abstractly recounts different physical and emotional experiences after having been in natural environments united by a body of water, the Aconcagua River; from its source in the Andes mountain range to the place where it empties into the sea, Concón. This takes place over a period of approximately six months during the second half of 2020, to be exhibited in 2021.

The name “Almatic paintings” refers to the fact that they are paintings that express a feeling from the soul after having been in certain places that moved and upset me. With them I do not want to deliver a message but rather express an image which I consider an internal decoding taken to the visual.
